Businesses are racing to fill sales positions in response to skyrocketing orders in 2021 and the Manufacturing Technology Sales Fundamentals Workshop is answering the call to get sales teams up to speed and ready to sell. This workshop is the strategic onboarding tool and custom-built for new hires and application engineers or service technicians migrating into sales.

Developed by industry-veteran Dave Poling and led by Steve Lesnewich, AMT Vice President, Member Services, and Greg Jones, AMT Vice President, Smartforce Development, the workshop covers everything from relationship-building skills, personal branding methods, and marketing techniques, to The Fundamentals and The Six-Step Process of Sales

New in 2022! The hybrid sales approach is here to stay. Attendees will hone the technical, professional, and personable abilities needed to confidently host successful virtual sales meetings.

Registration provides course materials, lunch on both days, and a light breakfast on day two. Attendees will receive a pre-workshop assignment to share on day one. Attendees will complete a second assignment after day one (due on day two). The workshop will finish with a short, open-book exam, and those with passing scores will receive a certificate of completion.

  • $695 per person: AMT members (if registering multiple attendees at once, $645 per person after the first registrant)
  • $795 per person: non-members (if registering multiple attendees at once, $745 per person after the first registrant)
